Console App: New UI for Deployment Management
We’ve expanded our deployment tools beyond the CLI by introducing a console app that allows you to create and manage deployments directly from the UI using Infrastructure Configuration Language (ICL). Access the new console app at console.spheron.network.
Key Features:

Connect Wallet: Start by connecting your wallet via MetaMask. Once connected, you’ll be redirected to your deployment dashboard, where you can view and manage your deployments seamlessly.

New Deployment: Create new deployments effortlessly. Click the “New Deployment” button, and you’ll be taken to a YAML code editor. Here, you can write or paste your ICL config, with a sample config available to help you get started. Once your configuration is ready, just click “Create Deployment.”

Deployment Dashboard: View and manage all your deployments in one place. The dashboard allows you to filter deployments by active or terminated leases and search through your deployment list to quickly find what you need.

Lease Details: View comprehensive details of your deployments, including service specifics, port mappings, resource usage, region, provider tier, lease ID, deployment logs, lease logs, and you can navigate to settings tab for updating current deployment.

Billing: Easily manage your balances. Check available balances for each token, deposit additional tokens, or withdraw your balance. Supported tokens can be selected for deposits, and our faucet is available to obtain test tokens.

Compute Usage: Track your compute usage across all deployments, including total leases, active leases, and total compute hours.
These updates enhance your deployment management experience, making Spheron more powerful and user-friendly.
Providers Leaderboard
We’ve introduced a leaderboard in the provider app that ranks the top providers based on their total reward points. Here are the leaderboard features:

Tabular View: The leaderboard displays each provider’s name, version, region, status, trust tier, rewards per era, total rewards, and resources. Click on any row in the leaderboard to navigate to the provider’s detailed page for more information.

Podium Section: The top 3 providers are highlighted in a special podium section at the top of the leaderboard.

Search Functionality: You can search for specific providers using their name or wallet address to quickly find their ranking and details.
Matching Engine Enhancements
Tiering System Consideration: The matching engine now takes the provider’s trust tier into account when matching deployment orders. This enhancement aims to optimize deployment assignments by aligning them with providers’ trust levels, ensuring more reliable and appropriate matches.
Provider Enhancement
Authorization Update: We’ve improved the internal logic for generating authorization tokens, which is required to access data about leases created by a specific tenant. This enhancement boosts security and control over lease management.
